I don't mind when guys look but I hate when they stare. I hate it even more when they whistle and try to talk to me or get me to come over to them. The only time I like that to happen is when my boyfriend does it. It is just so uncomfortable for them to stare at you.  |

LOL I know how you feel! I never wear skirts, dresses, or shorts to school. I'm always in a tee shirt and pants. I just don't like guys doing that. And even then sometimes they still do! I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad day but a short skirt and a see-through blouse are just an open invitation for some to stare. It looks like you learned your lesson the hard way. Sweat suits are comfortable and since it's getting close to Fall, maybe you can dress like that for a while. It's still too warm here for that sort of thing but it won't be long now. Spring has sprung and Fall is soon to be falling upon us. As for Winter and Summer, they're still traumatized and living in a state of denial because they weren't picked to be in the Charlie's Angels movie. Oh, well... Their loss is our gain, I suppose. For the record, you don't have to worry. I definately won't be wearing any skirts of any length. I wouldn't want to scare anyone that bad even if it was Halloween.

I completely agree with Agent Smith and Frank. If you don't want attention from the men then why dress in a fashion you KNOW will attract attention. If they were to walk in naked would you not look at them, if only through curiosity? Come off it, if you don't want to be noticed then don't wear clothes that will garner you attention. Oh, and you also say throughout your post that you are not good looking, I would guess that your boyfriend would say otherwise, and you wouldn't be getting hit on that much if you weren't good looking (or at least some parts of you LOL)  |

I don't get it much -due to my classic jeans and long sleeve shirt style- but it is very frustrating when you get that feeling you're being singled out in a crowded area. You need to face the facts on this one. Men are visually stimulated creatures. They cannot not look. That is no excuse for rude behavior on their parts. If you wear a short skirt and a see through top, I speaking as a man, would look. I would hope that I was somewhat discreet ( no eyes poping out of my head ). I could not not look. It's kind of like walking down the street and something shiney in a storefront window catches you eye so you look closer. I'm not a perv and I'm noot looking for for any action, it's kind of like a built in reflex. My wife knows that I look at women. She told me a long time ago that it's OK to look ( I'm just not allowed to touch LOL ). So if you don't want men looking at you, consider dressing in what I call business professional attire.  |
