My favourite one comes from the town I lived in when I lived in Germany. There was a florists called 'Blumen Ecke' (Blooming Heck - ancient English exclamation of surprise..LOL), the word for flowers in German is 'Blumen' and the word for corner is 'Ecke'...so I suppose really it was quite a sensible name.....to the Germans!  |

well I live in a very small town, but we have a little cafe called Another Thyme Cafe... i think its a cute name and was quite upset when I found out someone bought the owner out and is renaming the cafe JPs Club Pub or some dumb crap like that. We have a clothing store called It's Fashion... funny thing is, if that is the fashion, I'll pass... I'll just have to be unfashionable! LOL The "chinese" resturaunt, China One, doesnt sound so bad. The catch there is that it is owned and operated by Vietnamese. Hey they cook great food, but isnt China a totally different country than Vietnam?  |
