USM Frogs - Part 1: Metallifrog not to the rescue! - by Luv Bug

Metallifrog sat in his little armchair, like the kind people's dads like to sit in while they drink coffee and watch the news.

"Gosh, being Metallifrog is such a hard job...always having to save people and stuff," he said to himself, kicking his legs up on the ottoman of the recliner. "I'm gonna quit one of these days." He picked up the remote control and flipped on the television, turning it to Metallinews.

"Sources say that when attempts were made to reach Metallifrog to help save the train from crashing, he wouldn't respond," the female frog reporter was saying, live from the scene of a train crash. "I'm Rikafrog, live from the scene of the crash. Back to you, Matrixfrog.

"Boy, she sure is hot! I wonder if I can get her number!" Metallifrog said in reference to the reporter. "But I wish she would quit complaining about me not saving whatever needs to be saved! I've got better things to do than care about the world!"

He crossed his arms and laid back in the recliner, closing his eyes and drifting off to sleep where he would dream of Rikafrog, the reporter he would ask for a date.
