we have some on our bathroom floor. we got the wax up but it left a stain that will never come out. the wax wiill come off, but depending on the color of the wax and carpet, you might end up with a stain forever.  |

put a towel (that you don't care too much about) over the wax and iron it. the heat will re-maelt the wax and the towel will soak it up. ...  |

wowww, IMZP and JUNGABEL....that is an excellent idea...i never thought of the iron thing...i going to try it...it sure beats cutting it out...lol...in fact, i think i'll have to pay for this carpet when i move out of this apartment...lol...the only thing i could think of was cutting it out...boy, this site sure comes in handy....thanks all of you....:-)  |

There is also this spray at walmart called Desolvit. Just spray it on, let it soak for a few minutes, then scrape up the wax with a knife. At the restaurant I work at, we have to use candles and the wax gets spilled all of the time. It works good. Hope this helps too.  |
