Who The Enemy Truly Is *Princess Of Light*

Standing gazing afar from my distance
I can't help by sigh and smile at the same time
Life has taken its beaten course
Yet I stand still, as the world continues to grow

The choices that surround me
Leave a feeling of wishing I could pause;
The moments that make it all worth while
I smile for a second, as I'm lost in my unconscious
As reality sets in, routine begins another day..another sigh

I wish dreams were as easy to follow as your imagination
But the chances you take, risk the years to follow
They tell me to have hope, then turn with their backs to me
I begin to ask a final question, when footsteps in a distance;
Answer everything

People preach and continue to be unhappy
We've got all the answers, all the solutions
Yet to obtain them, is the ultimate success

I often think the best of our lives
Are spent in moments that we don't realize;
Until afterwards
That true love stares us in the face-
But we refuse it due to worldly forces
Faces with no characters,
Features with no dignity

With everything offered
We take everything, and give nothing in return
There are no answers, as to who the enemy truly is
It's that very same question, we must answer ourselves
Life is dream,
But I can't help it-
When I smile and sigh at the same time
