My Daddy is in Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville in critical condition...He has been in the hospital now for over two weeks.. He had to be rushed in there because of hemmoraging and they had to put in 26 units of blood, not including the other 20 something units of fluids they had to give him to get his blood pressure stable..They had to do exploritory surgery to locate where the bleeding came from...Because of all the fluids his body swelled so much they couldnt close him after surgery.. He is on a ventalator, they had to put into his trakiea(SP?)He also has a heart cathetor to measure the pressure on his heart...I have now found out sense coming back home to CA that he has set up an infection, I cant remember the name, something like VEM or VRE, but they say it is worse than staff infection..They are having to try different combinations of antibiotics to try and find a cure...There is a 50/50 chance they wont find it...I asked the nurse on the phone the other day if my Daddy would pull through and she said she would be very surprised if he did...Please send your prayers..I am keeping the faith that God will have my Daddy up and walking out of that hospital and I know your prayers can help...
