How scary Kelly, I had something similar happen years ago. My son had the Nintendo game Dragon Warior 3 one of those Role Playing ones, where your character got strong by battles and stuff and went up levels on night we came home from a schol activity and his character was leveled up 2 levals we never found out who had doen that |

jackie, I doubt it's a ghost, we've lived here for almost 3 years and have had few things happen..we live on a military post and I was afraid if I called the MP's they'd think I was just another scared/lonely houswife whose husband is gone and wants a little attention..it happens all the time to the poor guys.. |

Don't worry about it. It's probably just the restless spirit of some poor murder victim who lived there before you did. |

Frank, your probably right..they must have had a thing for PBS (which is what may have gotten them murdered to begin with), because that was the station the tv was turned to.. |

Well it doesnt sound like anyone was there to take anything. At least I'm assuming that nothing was taken? And if you were gone for 3 hours there was plenty of time. Is just anyone able to get on the post or just personal and families that live there? My first instict was to tell you to get the locks changed. But I'm thinking that if you have a video camera...you should leave it going the next time you leave. You might just find out someone is going through your house. It's not as rare as you'd think....I'd give that a try AND I would change my locks. |

That is very strange. If that happened to me I'd call my daughter to see if she had come by. You don't have any other family that may have come by? At least whoever or whatever it was was energy conscious. Snipit |

Your going to make your daughter check under you bed? You would rather have her die then you? Your willing to sacrifice her life for your protection? Meh, I would do the same thing! I am such a scaredy cat! Lilwicca |

I suppose I should have written more then what I did. It's scary that your tv changes stations. Mine used to turn off and all of the the time. You probably have a few restless spirits because my house used to do the same thing, but opposite. My lights would be on, and everyone made sure they were off. Strange how it was only my room.. By the way, our dog is a 13 year old Scotty-dog, a little on the deaf side, I can't see him being overly concerned with an intruder in the house, as long as they left his doggy treats alone. |

Author57355--Scotties are the best, not very good at being watch dogs though. Unless it were a cat trying to break-in, than there'd be some trouble. |

If it was somebody just snooping in your house I can't see why they would shut everything off to scare you, then again it could be somebodys way of saying I was in your house now what can you do? I would get my locks changed just in case it is a not a ghostie.Especially since that kid lost your key. |

Well if you think it could be your neighbor than I would get the locks changed and see what happens. If it stops I would pressume that it could have been him. Or somebody who found the lost key but it would have to be someone who knows that it's the key to your house. Good luck and I hope it doesnt happen again. Chickywoo. |
