I like having fake nails. For some odd reason they make me feel pretty lol. This summer I had acrylic nails put on. I loved them but they eventually became too expensive to fool with. It was like 20 dollars just to have them filled in. But when I had them taken off they completely ruined my real nails. Let me just say no more fake nails for me.  |

I don't like fake nails on my hands. I've had some put on a few times and I couldn't stand it. I was always scratching myself, and I couldn't do anything. They also felt like they were going to fall off all the time. Some people look good with fake nails, I don't. My fingers are short and chubby. It just doesn't look good and they bother me.  |

three words hun. PAIN, MONEY, and TIME!! lol. when i get my nails porfessionally done (which was once). It took foreva. Hurt when i had to take the plastic fake stuff off, and it cost $30 just to get em done. lol.  |

I can get used to them but they are always in the way. Its soo hard like you say, to zip your pants. I use my thumb and the nuckles of my index finger to zip my pants. I don't have fake ones on right now or I wouldn't be able to type as fast as I'm typing! LOL! Also the worst thing to do while wearing fake nails is wash your hair! I'm always scratching my head! Its hurts! So I'd hafta say I prefer not to wear them! :)  |

i find if you don't grow your own and just throw on fakes they feel really odd because your not used to them and nails i admit can get in the way if your not used to them being there |

I can't stand them! LOL I wore them once for a junior homecoming dance and I had painfully ripped them all off by the end of the night. I don't even like my reall nails long....a lot of it having to do with wearing contacts too!! :p  |

UGH! I hate them. Short Acryllics are ok, but I don't wear them often. Only for Special Occasions. I can't open Soda, or put on Jewelry or anything with them. And they make my nails feel funny. And they always look horrible when you take them off. Ugh, I can't stand 'em. Erin-  |

Yup...I have kinda long nails , but not REALLY REALLY long nails .lol. I once wanted to see how really long nails looked on me..But it was kinda hard to do ANYTHING especially type! LOL Atleast u kept them on for a whole day, i kept them on for 15 minutes only...there really annoying, its different when its ur realy nails coz they wont annoy u and u'de be allready used to them...Take care...  |

LOL...It's just whatever you are used to. I always had long nails (my own) but I kept breaking them at work. I had acrylics put on for about a year and really liked them, but it was a pain to have to keep going and have them filled. I went without for awhile, but have recently started wearing fakes. The only problem I see with them, is that they keep breaking or popping off. As far as doing things, like I said, I have always had long nails (Oh I guess about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch over the top of my fingers) I use the nails as an extension of my finger. Maybe thats why they break. They do feel funny for the first hour or so, but then I feel comfortable with them again. I think they make short fingers look longer and leaner. Maybe you had too wide of nails on. You just have to try them on and find the sizes that fit and look the best.  |
