My thoughts drifted many miles, Searching for the heart I gave away. Wishing that the sun would rise with hope, Bringing destined love to me. But the only thing that swayed in the winds, Were the silent kisses that I send to thee. Our days are different and our nights alone, As distance is the path we follow. Time keeps us far apart, The day, not our love the night can swallow. So open up the light of time again, Blow your lonely winds array. For destiny keeps our hearts as one, Soon your night will be my day. That is when time will stand still, And distance will be consumed. Our hopes and prayers are answered, Eternity can then resume.
