Rain fell on her eyes, and the wind nearly carried her small body away like a feather. The open wounds stained her nightgown with blood. Ah...what pain used to feel like when she was alive. She liked pain. No, she loved pain.
She stared at the bloody finger in her hand. Yes, she had it now. The ring was hers once again. He belonged to her. That was a symbol of their love. How dare he forget about her and place a cheap ring on another woman's finger. No, never again. Now she had his ring, and his heart...literally.
Walking into the dark house, she saw people surrounding the place. It was the police. They were too late. His bloodcurling screams that made her so very happy sent a fear into the neighbors house that they had'nt known, and so quickly dialed 911.
Slowly she entered the living room, and took a glance around at the blood on the ceiling and on the walls. Job well done. She entered the bedroom and stood next to the bed, as police officers unaware of her presence continued with their questioning.
She left the room and walked up to a nice, jolly and overweight police officer. When he opened his mouth to breath, with difficutly, she stuck out her hand and let her arm go down into his throat. The police officer began coughing and gagging...and as she tugged at his organs, he coughed up blood. Laughter ticked her, as his life slowly drained away. She turned to the screams of a little girl. Poor little girl had lost her dad and step mommy. This was her child. This was the child she bore years ago, who now meant nothing to her. But...the child might be of some use, no? 10 years ago she had committed suicide because she found out her husband cheated on her, and didnt give a second opinion to living for her daughter. But now, she would claim her as her own for the first time.
She whispered something in the childs ear, and the child looked around to see who was speaking. The child followed the voice to another room, dodging the police officers. In the guest room, she paused. She stared at the mirror ..as if waiting for something to happen. She took a couple steps closer and leaned into the mirror.Seeing nothing she turned away, when suddenly a death cold grip had her by the throat. The teddybear she was carrying dropped to the floor. She tried to scream but nothing came out. A knife was pulled to her throat ...and and with effort...she looked up, and saw a terrifying face. Wounds everywhere and she made out a bullet hole near the left temple.
Its mother, she thought. And then the disfigured woman said..."Yes..and now you'll join her in eternal misery." With that...she tugged her daughter into the mirror and disappeared, leaving behind a crack down the mirrors center and a trickle of blood.
