The cat

My mom's house was built circa 1920 and is quite creepy. It's a city house, nice, but still scary with a freaky as hell basement. Anyway, it's a tri-plex, supposed to be a four-family house, but she converted one of the other floors into her office/store and this is where I sleep (in the back bedroom). Before she converted it into an office, a man named Kurt lived there and he had this black cat named, I think it was, Cindy or Cimmy or something like that. It died there years ago and it's spirit still roams. Sometimes, it messes around and fights with my mom's cats, scaring the fur offa them. I've seen it once before and felt it quite a few times. It lays up beside me sometimes when I sleep and once I felt it kneading my arm (cat's do this when they're kittens and sucking their momma's teats). My brother saw it once, too. It was late at night and walking in the living room. It disappeared before it reached the darkness. It's kinda cute and cool, but also scary at the same time.

How it changed my life:

It didn't, really.

Date: 10/20/2002 7:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 41117    weird. but hey, that cat probably lived there all it's life, and couldn't let go. It may even be looking for it's owner. At least it doesn't hurt anyone. ~forestchild~
Date: 10/20/2002 8:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 31045    I have a ghost cat in my home too. I knew this grey cat, his name was Katze Baule and he had to be put to sleep because of a badly infected paw. Since then he's been seen, felt and heard about the house. No one is frightened of him, not even our 2 female cats. He came by on a sunny Easter Sunday in the kitchen and my brother and I both heard him meow and our cats were all outside so we knew who the meow was from, Katze Baule. I sure miss him. LillyCats
Date: 10/20/2002 9:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 61677    My mom's house has a ghost cat in it. I believe it is a cat that was a pet of mine. I was the one who'd seen it most often and it often hung out in my room or would follow me around the house. Other people had seen it as well. I don't think you really have anything to be afraid of. *Smeagol*
