The Damned is, without a doubt, one of my favorite bands. An old school punk/goth band, it included Dave Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies, and Algy Ward. At least, that's who was in it in the early-1980's, when they were at the height of their career. Their new stuff (Democracy) is okay, but their old stuff is the greatest. To anybody who hasn't heard them and wants to, I suggest the following songs: Suicide, Eloise, Alone again or, Melody Lee, Problem Child, Neat neat neat, New Rose, Rabid, Plan 9 channel 7, History of the World part 1, and Is it a dream. These are my favorite songs. I really like Alone again or and Melody Lee. Suicide's pretty good, too. Try these guys out; you WILL NOT regret it!
