Why do you wish you were white with blues eyes? I dont mean to be rude but thats stupid to think that way! I'm sure your still attractive just cause you look different who cares? I know the weirdness of people asking probably gets to you so just tell everyone your Gradmpa is Asian or something! And if it totally bothers you then look into it and find out somehow... Look through records or however you find out who your parents truly are. Hey who knows.. maybe you really do have an Asian Grandpa! |

Although I am quite happy with my own features-- how I would love to have yours. I'm milk skinned and gray eyed, and, well, we often admire what we can't be. Take pride in your features, they're a gift. |

don't make a huge deal about it if you are really paranoid you could get a test done to see if you are your parents child(DNA test).. but that can be pretty costly just be happy you are a little different... |

being a part of a family has nothing to do really with how one looks. genetics are a funny thing. me for example. i look nothing like my mother or father, nor my two sisters. however, put a picture of my great grandmother next to me, at my age now, and we're almost twins. relax and be proud in who you are. |

I agree with DreamerPoet, you may just look like one of your ancestors. My mother has blue eyes, and my father has brown, but I have green eyes, just like my Grandpa. I also have alot of my grandmas features. |

I know how you feel. My father is 5'6", and I'm 6'5"! When people ask me how that can possibly be (and yes, I get a lot of jokes about being the mailman's kid!), here's what I say, "It's a double-recessive gene from my ancestors!" Hit 'em with a scientific fact, and they shut up! Genetics are funny things: I dated a girl once whose parents are both natural blondes, and she has hair blacker than an oil slick! The only person in either family with black hair was her great-great-grandmother! Look into your family's history, and you'll probably find out where your looks came from. Who knows? You may even be a reincarnation of that person! Revel in your looks, and remember the Star Trek principle: "IDIC - Infinited Diversity in Infinite Combinations. Surely the universe is big enough for us all!" --Arion1 |

Poeple are just ignorant, ignore them. Some traits ususally skip a generation or two so there's probably a past relative with your features in your family. Just think of yourself as the unique one in the family, not the oddball. -*Skylar* |

I can totally relate...my entire family had dark hair, dark eyes. I'm the ONLY blonde with green eyes. I like the fact that I'm different from them...gives me a little uniqueness ~Chaunta |

Be proud of the way you look! Whocares what other people say! (I know that's hard) I am very pale and I have doctors say that I look sick and I'm not I'm just really pale. |

Well first off it's a possibiltiy you are, which you'll learn later in life, if so as long as they love you and treat you as their own who cares. Aimless |

But really if you put my family together, none of us really have a real strong resembalance except for the eyes, my youngest sister looks like my moms mom, my oldest sister looks lke my dads mom, I resemble my dads sisters (nose & build), & my brother resembles my mom, so go figure we all resemble someone or other in the family. Difference between people is such a blessing, but yes, at the same time, you should know where your roots are. Talk to your family and ask them straight-out. They won't think you're serious unless you talk to them seriously. Ask for your birth certificate or the like; good luck on this! :-D whatdidisay22 |

There's this thing called the "throw-back gene". I'm not exactly sure how it works but this it my understanding. It involves the dominant and ressesive genes. It's very rare but you're parents both carry the ressesive gene and somehow they got paired together when the X and Y chromosomes paired blah blah. Enough science crap. LOL |
