The isolated man waits For a partner to explore the world with He only longs companionship if nothing Else but a way to pass time enjoyably. What caused this man to Be alone for his long-lived single life? If only thinking he is undesirable Is a wrongful act, at not cost.
Could life be all about fulfillment? No wrong or right, errors or misconceptions The world looks flat, at a glance So does the arm, with the leveled scars.
False advertisement, you sneak Around pretending to be like me, when only You are the enemy, lying at my feet. Single-handedly written, without help from the wise That likes to speak above me, not for me.
The candle keeps burning, and I will forever Want to put it out.
The world keeps spinning, and so do My thoughts that are churning Souls are everlasting; Forever materializes into a single tear Not shed for a broken past, or a non-promising future But for the world, that will never end.
And it goes about, Without the single companion, wanting another Hobby to be free of his will. To try something new, not in his routine The master swings around the strings, and he lands On his feet Never finding out, of his ignorance.
The world keeps turning, and the writers Keep writing
What the world consumes, everyday Is the lasting lit candle Not wanting to give out, rest eternally The rodents that like to sleep, being awoken by the day’s sun To do the day’s chores, the day’s callings Only they can cherish the night off, when everything else Is given away.
