Basically, you should drink LOTS of fluids, and DON'T whisper...unless there is absolutely no sound coming out....(I have laryngitis right now too...and I have an opera performance in like 2 1/2 weeks!!)  |

I had laryngitis a few years ago. My doctor gave me antibiotics and told me to not talk at all. My voice needed to be rested. Hope you get to feeling better, I know it is totally rough to not be able to speak lol.  |

Only way to get it to return is not extend it at all in anyway for a few days. I get it ALL the time...LOL. I have to spend at least two days trying not to raise my voice at the kids in order to get it back....LOL  |
