On lonesome watch, over field of dreams- Bengal tigers..crouching lions- Raptors alight on ancient pines- Brightest day..transforms to night- Breed new fear and steal our sight- Prowling beasts intent on feast- War-cries sounding in the east- Hungry monsters...Evil men. Recurring..Not this dream again! Awaiting..tense..I hear the sound of naked footfalls coming round. And in my heart....I know it's you. Alas...There's nothing I can do. For I am but a watcher here. Condemned to see, yet not go near. Alas, to me..so cruel it seems. You're trapped inside..my field of dreams.
