I'm trying to find a change
As I become a new person inside
To let everything pour out
With nothing left to hide
It's not as easy as I thought
As I wait here for a new start
I only want to glide through
Reaching the depths of a heart
I know who I want to become
Although my eyes only see who I am now
I know I'd go through with this
If only I could find the way how
It's what outsiders don't see through my face
Only what they wish they could mirror and see
That place where no one visits but I
It's deep in the inside of no one but me
I can see myself in a better image
With more confidence and pride
I'm still waiting on change
To become a new person inside
A place where I keep everything locked away
Behind all the cluter people see on the outside
It's where I go to find inner peace and strength
Somewhere where I can fly, on the inside
