No matter what type of spell you do (try to follow the rules :p) this is a basic outline. 1. Cast circle: This is actually pretty simple. Walk around in a circle of the area three times saying "I conjure thee of great circle of power, so that you may be a boundry for me a meeting place between the world of men and realm of mighty spirits, and contain the power I will raise within thee, a meeting place of perfect peace love trust and harmony, as my will so mote it be!" Of course you can say whatever you want just something to that effect. Imagine a blue light coming from your finger or wand as you do this. When you have walked around 3 times repeating this go to the north and grab the top part or your circle and pull it to the floor. Say "As above as below the circle is sealed" You now have a circel 2. Ask lord and lady for their blessing, help and guidance Pretty simple. Just say something like Lord and lady please join me in my spell to: *insert reason here*" also lighting the lord and lady candle may help now. 3. Ask any other gods/goddesses/spirits for help if needed: If you need to call the quarters, watchers, totem animals, whatever now is the time. Ask nicely something to the effect of "*Insert word here* please join me in my spell/ritual to *insert reason here* so mote it be! To ask a god or goddess would be the same. 4. Do spell: Well could this be more self explanitory :p? Basically do any candle lighting, reading, whatever needs done 5. Make sure to rasie energy This could be done by singing, dancing, clapping, or chanting. 6. Send energy: Imagine all the energy you raised and imagine it circling you up until it goes out through your hands (goddess postion, hands above your head.) Like leaves swirling then letting go of a balloon. When you let it go say "Lord and lady please take this energy for my spell to *insert reason here* so mote it be! 7.Thank everything that helped you and if you called anything say something like '*insert anythings name here* thank your for your participation in my spell. go if you must, stay if you will, hail and farewell so mote it be!' Never ever forget to thank everyone and let them go. 8. Never ever forget to say "This spell shall not reverse or place upon me any curse. SO MOTE IT BE[b]TEXT otherwise it just may....Its like a sealer really. 9. Close circle: This time hold out your finger or wand and draw all the 'blue light' or energy back in your hand. No need to go around three times but do go in the shape of a circle at least once. Then go to the place you sealed the circle, hit the floor again and say The circle is open but never broken we are the people we are the power we are the change so mote it be! 10. Ground and center: Okay this is getting rid of all your extra energy. Stand in goddess postion and imagine you are a tree. Your roots go deep in the earth and your sending all your excess power to the earth through them. Then to center imagine a deep calm coming from your belly button. 11. Offering/Communion Usually its custamary to eat some cookies or bread and drink some fruit juice or wine after a ritual or spell. Thats communion. Save a small amount back and offer it to the gods and goddesses. Then either bury it or throw it in a living body of water. If you dont wish to do this burn some incense as a sacrifice. 12.Later stuff: Dont forget if you used candles or anything else that needs to be buried after the spell is complete (meaning the desire was achieved.) DONT FORGET TO DO THIS! Also an offering to gods and goddesses in thanxs would be a nice gesture. If your spell requiered other further steps to do at later dates dont forget to do them! :p
