Anyone familiar with children's books?

When I was in elementary school, I remember reading this certain book all the time. I'm currently doing some homework over different children's books and I want to include this book. Problem is, I can't remember the title of it. Other than that, I remember everything about it. It's about this teacher who has a class that is very unruly. Not being able to take it anymore, the teacher finally doesn't come to school for a couple of days. During those days, the children have a very mean substitute. The sub wears a black dress and black shoes and kind of looks like a witch. Not being able to deal with the mean sub, the students go to their teachers house to see if she'll come back. She does but what the kids don't know is she was the substitute all along. Needless to say the kids weren't mean anymore. I hope someone remembers this book and knows the title. Thanx in advance.
