Illegal = send them back. If they are here with permission that is a totally different situation and I agree with them being allowed to stay. However if they are going to break immigration laws to enter this country what makes you think they aren't going to break other laws? I think they should be deported as soon as they are caught.  |

BUT i do think they should follow the laws to get thier green cards and such.. i think that the red tape it takes to get it should be cut back... because if it takes 6 months to get everything finalized the visa can run out and they are sent back... personally i think it all depends on the reasons they want to stay in the country and what they can bring to the country(not just money) |

HEY! my grampa got a green card a few years ago!!! lol..... i think we should find a place for them, i mean they only wanna be free and have a job, we cant just send them back to where they came from, cause i mean, if they went threw all this trouble to get here, there must be something REALLY horrible about where ever they came from!  |

And thats why we have this marvelous intitution , called the INS. At one point no matter how bad we feel for the world , we are going to have to stop , and say...Ok guys...we did our share its time for you(Other countries) to take some responsabilities and take care of your own people! Thats why we have a certain number of people from other countries who are allowed here , and after that amount is up , thats it til next time! And , oh yeah , im not only an avid pro regulation fan..im also an immigrant. Born in Italy , came to this country when i was 17 , legally , i might add! 10 years later ive became a full fledged American Citizen. Good Post.  |

I feel if they are here illegally, then they should be sent back to their home country. If they come here in a legal way then I wish them all the luck in the world that they live out the "American Dream"  |

I think that most of them would be better off, considering the state of affairs in our country, staying in their own. I'd say we should export revolution to overthrow oppressive governments, but all governments are oppressive and all opposition are terrorists, these days.  |

Within a melting pot, only proportional parts of different grades of metal can be melted together and still maintain adequate Strength. Stop controling the Measurements being added, and let just any and all kinds get in without Equal limits, you are going to loose your Strength, and have just a big pot of "JUNK" that is good only for the sake of Discarding it, by Destruction. Deport everyone of them that is not being added by the Monitors. Also, The Monitors need to be wise enough to know that a Melting Pot gets full after awhile. And spills too, can mean Pain and suffering!  |

I agree with our current government policy regarding immigration-Unless they are in need of political asylum, then send them back. I understand that poverty is horrible in say, Haiti, but if we allow that to be a reason to come over here, we will have the entire Haitian population on our doorstep. And the entire populations of every impoverished country overseas.  |
