LOL! Good post. My 10 year reunion won't be for 4 more years. If I go or not will depend on how successful I am at the time! hehe... The girl that was our "homecoming queen...prom queen...etc" has already gained a LOT of weight. I saw her about two weeks ago actually. I can't say much bad about her because she was a pretty cool girl. |

even though mines a way off *2011* I plan on going....there were very few people I didn't like....I knew everyone everyone liked me...*Shrugs* I can't wait to get out there to knock the socks off all the guys and say 'you missed out' LOL Honestly I think reunions are only for showing off your accomplishments and proving everyone wrong and stuff...but yeah if it's possible I totally plan on going to mine. |

I honestly don't know. I don't think any of my inner circle would go so there would be no point also the people that I was really close to in high school are still in contact. Maybe if I am looking really good and I want the guys that never gave me a second glance to regret that. |

I probably won't be going to mine (its 2 yrs away). I'm sure it will be most of the snobby, stuck up crowd who will attend it anyway. I do see some of them occassionally out and about. I think its hilarious to see the snobby ones putting on weight and going bald lol. I guess thats mean but its true. |

That's what I think too Snookums, that all the conceited ones will be there and not the ones I actually liked. I did get a good laugh not too long ago. This girl used to make fun of me for wearing Wal-Mart clothes. and I still do from time to time, but I remember her saying this, "I'll never buy my clothes from Wal-Mart" I saw her there with her bratty kids, (2 of them were half-black, and one of them white, so an indication of two different dads) and she was buying Wal-Mart clothes, I was going to say something, but I instead walked away and smiled. |

I remember way back when I was a teenager. My mom would go to places like WalMart and I refused to go in. I would lay down in the back seat and hope nobody saw me. I was so concerned with what other people thought of me. Now I don't really care. Thinking back on that makes me see how ridiculous that was lol. I hope my kids don't behave that way when they are teenagers. Something else I've noticed is when I see a lot of the popular ones I graduated with in public, they are usually so friendly now. It makes me want to say "hey I wasn't good enough for you then. Why am I now?" but of course I don't lol. |

So sad. My Class of 1949 was soooo special and we all enjoy seeing each other again. One year in high school, "slam books" appeared - like autograph books. You put your name on one and passed it around - classmates were asked to list everything they hated about you and not sign their name. No one ever put anything degrading in the books, only good things, and the practice died. Now, that is life at its best! But, then it was Missouri - and, I now live in California. RAT |
