I think this sort of thing is happening all over the Southeast tonight. That's the way it's been here in Tennessee. The TV's turned off right now but the last time I heard, there were three unconfirmed deaths. |

I know what you mean, I love a good storm, but this one was anything but, add to that having to chase around 240, 16 to 24 year olds that think they are imortal...LOL, it was a wet, trying day at work, not to mention a little scary. |

Yep, same here in Alabama... although I think for the most part is past us.. I just had the power go out for a few minutes.. about 10 minutes ago... I'm used to this type of weather though, been living in Alabama all my life and weather has been like that for as long as I could remember, thats for sure.. My heart and prayers go out to those that have lost anyone, or been injured. *hugs* |

I was at a Mind, Body, and Spirit Expo today and all of a sudden the tornado sirens started going off outside. I'm in Indiana. I used to live in California...and I can deal with earthquakes...but for some reason tornados just seem to be so much scarier. We had three touch down here about a month ago and it caused some real destruction of people's homes and businesses. Luckily noone was seriously hurt. I really feel for any person caught in the path of a tornado...and I'm with you, my heart also goes out to those people with loved ones who are missing or hurt. |

I saw on the news this morning all the storms and although we had some blow through here in the middle of the night, we were lucky, no damage. My prayers go to all who were affected by these storms. |
