My 13 year old was on it with concerta... it made him have 'ticks' (uncontrolable body/face movements) really bad!! He was literally crawling out of his skin. That's when we found out that he couldn't take Zoloft or concerta because he had a mental illness instead of what they thought he had. I'm glad that it is working for you except for the break outs. I hope that gets better in time!! Much Hugs! Zeeboette |

I took Zoloft for a while during my pregnancy for mood swings, at first it was 25mg then 50mg. The only side effect i had was at first I felt very sleepy all the time but that went away. Other than that it worked great. |

I am on Prozac and Welbutrin. I have no problem with either one. The one side effect that they said that I am going to have is loss of weight. But hey I am not complaining about that :) |

Oh my we are all on happy pills aren't we??? lol.. j/k I was on Zoloft 50mg. When I first started taking them it helped me alot. I was always in a good mood. I was told to take them before I went to sleep, I guess cause of the drowsiness so ShaiBeauty you might want to try taking them then. I ran out and was off them for about a week and when I went back on it didn't have the same effect as when I first took them. I haven't taken them in over a month but I do have a 3 month prescription at home so I might start taking them again. *IP* |

I used to take Prozac (that was the first anti-depressant that I took) and it did no good for me, it made me shake a lot, and I almost blocked out because of it, so the doctor put me on Zoloft, and it worked for awhile, until I had a total mind change, and took myself off of them, now I don't use anti-depressants at all, I realized that no pill is going to make me feel better, only I can do that. (but thats just me, for some people, the pills really can help them). |

I used to take Zoloft then was switched to Celexa. I was switched because the Zoloft had no effect on me. Celexa worked very well but it had alot of side effects, just yesterday my psychiatrist switched me to a new version of celexa called lexapro. I think you should talk to your doctor about lexapro because its very effective and it has little or no side effects, its the latest breakthough in antidepressents. Ive also taken Remeron in the past, it worked but it made me very tired and extremely hungry...Andy |

Several years ago I took prozac for about 6 months. It made me have an irregular heartbeat, and I had to wear a halter monitor or 24 hrs. to make sure everything was ok. |

I took Zoloft when I was pregnant. At around the 5th month I developed something like panic attacks (which was really weird because I really wasn't having any problems physically or emotionally about being pregnant and was quite thrilled)....but I did some research and found that it is not uncommon at all for women to develop panic attacks at about the 5th month. Must have something to do with the hormones. But....anyway....I didn't have any side effects at all from the Zoloft. |

I am currently on Prozac. I had to have my does raised a few times before it was just right. I have also been on Celexa, which did nothing for me what so ever. |
