When I see conspiracy arguments, I see a pendulum swinging---to the furthest reaches of its capacities. The conspiracy theorists are seen as ones spouting the end of the earth due to underground aliens who have secret societies while the conservative ones are seen as sheep with their eyes closed and their heads in the sand being led to slaughter like dumb cattle. Their never seems to be a middle ground. Personally, I know that the government has secrets it ain't going to tell us. Big surprise, huh? But I also believe that if someone hears something, it should be checked out using multiple sources (at least 3) for EACH side; that is actually the standard research method for a lot of professors. The sources themselves should have a background check for authority and history of madness. I have personal biases here, but I structured this argument as a more objective one. Perhaps someday I'll do a post on that. In the meantime, Hey Larry, what does the Dewey photo have to do with conspiracies? That was just a "discombobulated fau pa" on the press's part.
