Into my mind
Where no one has gone
To the brightest light
In the darkest corner
There is a mirror
I'll stand before it for you
Don't be scared at what I am
But fear what I could be
Control of the mind turns the two to one
Only patience keeps me in check
On the right my feathered wing
The dragon's on the left
Body clothed in the purest white
Covering the ebony cloth
The demon's fang hidden by angelic light
The angel takes my actions, devil with the thoughts
I try to care
Only half can
I do care
Only half does
No one can know
They live without notice
Tongue taught to stop
An iron shield built
Never to come down
I try to tell now
But I can't
I'm stuck behind my own shield
Caused by my need for protection
Forever behind the glass
I will find a way out
Just give me time
Time built this wall
And with it
I will tear it down
