my friend was talking to her BF on the phone one time. and she was on a cordless phone. and her neighbor had one of those scanner things and he got on the same frequency or whatever she was on and listened to their whole conversation. and then told her dad! but as for this. i dunno how it happened.  |

I've had that happen, I walk out to my garage and if my neighbor is on the phone, I hear their conversation. Also, once or twice I just turned on the phone and there was a conversation going one *we only have one phone, so it wasn't like I picked up the phone to listen in on a family member's convo*.  |

My mother in law has two differnt lines in her house. Both of them has a chordless phone. One day she had asked me to call her internet company to straighten out a certain situation. She, meanwhile, was upstairs arguing with her husband on the other line. I could hear her yelling through the phone while I was trying to talk to the poor guy on the other end. I knew I wasn't hearing her through the ceiling because 1-it was a basement that I was in and 2-I held the phone away from my ear and heard nothing. But when I brought it back I heard her again. So I think it does have to do with the frequencies and how close they are together.  |

That happened to me one time... well a FEW times all in the same day. i was talking on the phone and heard somepeople talking about how they were going to hang their christmas lights! lol (it was last year b4 christmas) how odd huh  |

Hmmm thats pretty weird..I remember one time I was talking to my cousin on the phone. When all of a sudden these two hillbilly guys cut in and start having a conversation like we werent even there LoL..it freaked us out. Dont know the deal is with cordless phones these day =P  |
