This is a poem by my boyfriend...he wrote it to me, and he wanted to know what I thought about it and I told him it was wonderful and he asked me to tell him what I would think if I was just a reader and I told him that I couldn't tell..lol. Well I told him I'd get other's oppinion and he said Sure so I'm asking you. What do you think? Please reply!
Oasis
One day without you is like a day in the desert
With nothing to cover me from the smoldering sun
And nothing to guard my feet from the burning hot sand
With no water to quench my dying thirst
No food to fill my craving stomach
Then in the distance i see an oasis
With draping palm trees and meadows of grass
Pools of water and trees of fruit
Almost scared to approach it
For fear of it being an illusion
But with my last ounce of strength
I approach it and realize its real
And it makes me happier than
Anything in the world could
I fall in love with the place
And never wish to leave it again.
You are my oasis, Katie. You are my Love.
