Well to curl my hair I use some liquid mousse and just scrunch, and add a bit of hair spray. My hair used to be really frizzy and unhealty and then I started using NeXus hair products and its soo much easier to deal with it now! I don't think you can get it in the stores though. I get mine through the place i get my hair done at. |

i've never had a perm so i cant help ya with the curls, but if you want to wear it straight try these: *Start using a regular deep treatment once/twice a week. This will help repair the damage and you'll notice the difference quite soon. A protein pack is fantastic for this. Try Loreal Kerastace. *Invest in a hair straightener. It does absolute Wonders to straighten hair, i guarentee once you've got one you'll have no idea how you lived without it BUT make sure you buy a heat protector for your hair first. Using a straightener will damage your hair if you dont use a protector first ~ try once in serum form, they not only protect your hair but help keep is straight and glossy. Good luck! :) |

Try thermalsilk. It really makes your hair look shiny. What you would do is get the dye striped from yuor hair and let the perm grow out. If you do any thing else to your had ytour hair is goign to fall out! :p |

Hiya LoveOneAnother :) I know this is a woman post..but, I was wondering about your hair. If it's fried from the perms...then, couldn't you cut it real short (sorta like a burr) and wouldn't the hair grow back free from "perm damage?" I'm not trying to be cute, just honestly curious. I mean, how long would your hair take to grow back? Three months or so?..Just wondering......Kronk's alter/more righteous personality: "What a line. Kronk, you're a weirdo."...lol..See ya :) |

Nah not curly LOA ... if i let it dry naturally it gets a slight wave to it, 'beach hair' would be the best way to describe it, lol! I love dead straight hair though and i find that using a straightener gives it that really blunt ends look :) |

ok I have naturally curly hair & talking ringlets & yes you can have it, lol. Freeze ease stinks, been there tried it. Believe it or not Kronk is right for what you should do, that would be the first solution, second if it's damaged due to double process, which is (coloring & perming) give up one. Here's an example say yr normally natural brunette & using bleach or a high lift die to go blonde bad combination! That causes the hair when permed over process easily which causes frizz, some hair dyes cannot be permed over, or your advised not to, that's why you need to be honest to your hairdresser on what produts you use so they can use the perm for you. But if you were me I would pick a milder dye or leave it it's natural color if your going to get perms to cut down frizz in the future. But if I were in your shoes I would do at home hot oil treatments that you buy in drug stores do quite a few, so you will repair some of the damage done, & restore moisture to your hair then like I said drop the dye process & keep it the natural color then perm again & you will have no frizz. Never blow dye a perm without a diffuser or hot sock always dry with cool air setting, heat causes frizz. But for not I would say definately hot oil treatments & try that fx stuff. Aimless |

Love one another, yes switch to cool settings, and stay in the blonde family of colors. I'm just saying pick a milder one, I'm naturally dark blonde but like lighter blondes, I've bleached my hair forr many years to be a platnium blonde beautiful color but I was putting my hair though hell, that would react like a perm to you. So then I went a little darker for a year or so a sandy blonde, noe I'm at a golden blonde & I love it so that's probably what I'll be for the rest of my life, lol. I'm saying insteade of the one color your using switch to something a little darker to your taste (in the blonde family) that way you know it's used with 20 vol. peroxide instead of 30 or 40 vol. peroxide. Then you will never see frizz again straight or curly. I love Loreal products my color is 8G Loreal Golden Blonde anything in that bracket your good to perm over. Aimless |
