awwww darlin, this is so sad, to think that one chooses death over living is indeed a terrible situation to be in...and so young at that...I can't begin to understand how they must feel, but at least she has you to talk to hun and I believe that in being able to discuss these problems with someone can be a step in the right direction...let's hope and pray that all will be well for her...hugs Zema  |

I dont know her nor do I or anyone else really knows whats going on in her mind. Usually you find the people who succesfully commit suicide never give any indications that they are having those thoughts. It often comes a suprise to everyone around them. I myself feel very suicidal and the more I bottle it up the more it becomes a real plan. But if I talk to someone the feelings usually go away. She also needs to understand everybody has a diffent brain chemistry, some people's brains produce more seratonin, dopamine, and or lithium, while others produce less, this accounts for the fact that some people are optimists, and some people are pesimists. These chemicals regulate our own happiness, and there are alot of new and improved medications that can raise or balance these levels. You should encourage her to take her meds, and if they are not working she should talk to her doctor and try different meds, it took me several antidepressants before I found one that worked, different meds affect people more and less effectively than others.....Andy
