The Lord our God is mighty, He rules the nations and loves them all,
Down to the foulest, unlovely beggar, He loves them.
Like the father who watches his children by day, and guards them by night,
So great is our Sovereign God, His love over flows, His strength and holiness endures forever and ever, Amen!
Our God, our Fortress, our Refuge!
Like the righteous man who forgave his beloved, adulterous wife,
So great is His love for us that He died for us, forgiving us for a multitude of sins.
Like the shepherd who watches his sheep by night, and leads them by day,
So trustworthy and true is our sovereign God, for His name is Truth;
Trust in Him and He shall make your paths straight.
Now to Him who sits in glory at the right hand of the father,
Be all praise, all glory, all honor, and all power for ever and ever.
