I'll admit it, I sometimes do judge...but I don't let that get in the way of something. I'm open to meeting different people of different cultures/race/religions. I think my "judging" comes from never really being around diversity. Where I live, Its mostly white people. There are very few black people. No more than 10. But don't mistake my words...My judging isn't like "Ohh I don't like that person because they are different then me". It's just usually something small.  |

This is a very well written post, BST. I don't like it when others judge on people's appearance either. I don't care what a person looks like, I will treat them the way I treat everyone. I sometimes treat adults with more respect, only because if I don't, I'll probably get in trouble.  |

I think some of us here have been doing a good job of that with you without bringing up the fact that you're young, young enough even to not know the benifits of giving respect even though its not due... as for respecting your elders, you should, they've been around a lot longer then you and with that time comes experience and wisdom that you, at your age, can not fathom .... |
