Group homes   Author: 61892  Category:(Hauntings) Created:(11/26/2002 5:46:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (819 times) I work with the disabled and I have worked in like 7 different group homes. It seems like every group home I work in has something messed up go on. When I first stated in this field 5 years ago the main group home I worked in had something go on almost every night. You could hear door open and slam all night long and when you would go back to check to see what it was every one would be asleep. We had put a client in the bed one night and this client could not walk had bed rails on his bed and all. He has never been able to walk. And we got him in his pj’s and put him to bed and a hour had past and when we went to check on him he was in his different close and back in his chair. This was the only time it had happen to me but other people said it has happen to them also. The bath room water would turn on by it self sometimes. All the other group home in the area had things like this go on also but not as much. When I went to a different company and I was doing in home care there was the one kitchen chair if you put it under the table something would pull it out. One night I came in for night shift and as I walked through the front door I seen a black cat walk in to the kitchen since I loved black cat I ask the girls there who brought the cat to work and they just looked at me and ask what cat and when I started to say the cat that just walked in the kitchen as I said that the broom fell to the ground in the kitchen. When we went to check it out no cat was found. Messed up right!! Well when I moved to Va I was working in a group home and things like shampoo that we left in a basket in the bath room floor would always end up in the tub. You would go to open a door and it would be locked and when you went to unlock it wouldn’t be locked any more. I never heard any thing but always felt like there was something there. So does any one out there no why places like this seem to always having extra guest in the house. Does any one have any stories to add about group home I would love to hear.
