My Brother and His Demon

This is a true story, and the incident happened when I was around 6 or 7. My parents had to attend a dinner. Of course my older brother and sister did not want to watch me, so my parents deceided to take me with them. The dinner lasted an hour or so.

My brother was the type that loved to aggravate my sister. Our downstairs is basically a circle. The living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room is all together. Like I said, basically a circle.

He was going to sneak up on my sister and scare her or something to that affect. He got to the kitchen, and he saw something standing between the laundry room and the kitchen. Like anyone would, he started freaking out. By this time, my mom, dad, and I had pulled in the garage. We were coming in the door and we saw my brother standing there throwing things. We did not know what was going on at the time. All we knew was that he was throwing things and screaming like crazy. My parents finally got him calmed down, and he was saying how he saw something. Something like the devil or a demon. At first my parents just thought that it was his imagination, and that he had been playing Dungeon's and Dragons too much, but he was determined to show them differently. He went up to his room and drew what he saw. I remember that picture all too well. It was a scary sight. I do not know if it was the devil himself or a demon, but it sure did scare the pants off of me. After my mom saw the picture she was determined that the reason he saw the demon was because of the game Dungeon's and Dragons. She demanded that he get rid of the game, because it was pure evil and it was a gateway for demons to enter. All I know is what I saw, and what I saw was horrid and scary. I'm not sure what I would have done if I were in his shoes. I just hope I never encounter a demon like that in my house.

How it changed my life:

I learned to not get heavily involved in games such as Dungeon's and Dragons, and I found out that demons really do exist in the world.

Date: 11/27/2002 5:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 58953    okay demond do exist... but Dungeond and Dragond has nothing to do with it.My brother has been playing for like 5 years and I just started to play with him and he havent seen anything.
Date: 11/27/2002 6:18:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 61930    I believe it's how much you get involved in the game, how deep you believe in it. He had been playing for years also. His world evolved around that game. I'm not saying that the game was the entire cause of the incident, but it seems to have helped. Just my opinions though.
Date: 11/27/2002 6:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 15070    this is a scary story. However there were millions of D&D games sold. If Demons came with each game set, they would be over running us by now. Your Brother might have seen something. Or not, maybe he felt guilty about what he was trying to do, and scared his own self.
Date: 11/27/2002 8:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 56971    wow that would have scared me to, iam glad u got rid of that game
Date: 11/27/2002 8:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 40456    I've always heard that isn't a game to mess around with!
Date: 11/27/2002 8:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 57355    D and D does not sommon demons or any thing... to existance... they are made for jusy game play, plus there are no engraved symbols that can bring then up...plus you sometimes need to use blood the bring these creatures out...
Date: 11/27/2002 9:18:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 61930    Yes, I know it's just a game, but I believe that people get too involved in their character, and they don't know where to draw the line between reality and fantasy. If you choose to be an evil character you could get carried away with all the evil thoughts. Maybe the demon presented itself to see if my brother would take it a step further and see if my brother would cross over to the darkness. All I know is that he did in fact see a demon in our house. He didn't just sit down and think of that image to draw for the heck of it. I don't know why the demon paid him a visit, but I know it couldn't have been for any good.
Date: 11/28/2002 9:52:00 AM  From Authorid: 60018    Scary! I doubt it's from the game though.
Date: 11/28/2002 2:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 57355    why would a demon want with some kid who is addicted to D&D... I have many friend who play this game, they have played since the 70's, and no demon would care of what they can offer. do you have antique in your home... and where you live.. how old is your home, or should I say the area where you live..
Date: 11/28/2002 2:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 57355    And also< ask your bother if he bothered, teased, beat up or angered someone, who might know of the arts and could ask a demon to do someting to him... Your parents might thinks it some game that brought it, but it could be something else...
Date: 11/28/2002 4:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 61893    I do not know why this THING would want anything to do with my cousin either, however this is a very true story that my lil cousin is telling you and I also believe that my older cousin was way too involved in this game, maybe even other evil things that could have provoked this THING. I believe he was set into evil ways.. mind, body and almost soul. Maybe that was what this THING was hoping to get, the rest of him. This isn't an OLD house that this took place in, it was just built when my lil cousin moved into it and she was around 4-5 years old. So, no I doubt the house is hanuted or the land that it sits on. People will believe what they want to believe and that is what makes us different. However, I believe that D&D played a big part in this. Nice post lil cos :-)
Date: 11/28/2002 8:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 49322    Well you never know he might have had something else in his life going on that no one knew about.. Explozion2004
Date: 1/2/2003 1:05:00 AM  From Authorid: 55533    O_O That scared me for reading that, i am asking God to protect our family from that...
