Through The Bedroom Door ~ Hey Larry~   Author:  5940  Category:(Poetry) Created:(11/26/2002 9:25:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (360 times) Never once did I see you cry Nor did I ask myself why Words never spoken, nor adored Except through the bedroom door Utterance of true feelings Spoken for only one to hear Nay, for your soul reeling Expecting the worst you feared Not knowing I was there At a time least unsure A heart on the sleeve you wear The emotions are so pure It was then I saw you cry No reason by me to ask why Words finally spoken, adored As I heard them through the bedroom door Utterance of true feelings No need to be ashamed For today she is passing And forgotten not her name Not knowing I was there I listened to your sorrow Teaching one to be fair Look forward to tomorrow Finally, I saw you cry No need by you to explain why Words were spoken and adored As I listened through the bedroom door ** Dedicated to my father, the one whom I was listening in on.
