hello! Im just checkin in and anydays anymore all i do on usm is comment if i say something on magick and i want to help. Yes voodoo dolls aka poppets are effective magickal items! And most of the time they arent used for evil intentions (ever mind the rules of magick!) but for healing, and protection and love (strengthing a relationship already going and the other person consents or bringing an unspecified person to you) and even for weight loss! In fact its not just a doll and needles, it can be a outline on paper or in dirt. |

I don't know. My mom has one and I'm afraid of it. I'm scared that if I say the wrong thing in it's presence, it will be linked to someone I love and kill them. I stay away from it. I don't know whether they work, though, or not. |

I have a VooDoo doll, I have never used it, but I consider it a tool. A hammer in the hand of one man, can be used to build. In the hand of another, it becomes a weapon. The same with VooDoo dolls, tarot, ouija's, or any other object. That is my opinion. |

The desperate human mind once again attempts to convince itself that somehow, via thought, deed, spell or trinket, it can hope to control ancient spirits. |

Vertigos these things are time tested, the mind does not have to convince anything! |

Vertigos-the majority of the human race believe in some sort of spirituality. That includes "miracles", and supernatural occurances. Simply because YOU don't believe, does not make it untrue. And if " The desperate human mind once again attempts to convince itself that somehow, via thought, deed, spell or trinket, it can hope to control ancient spirits."-I would imagine anyone who practices ANY type of faith, would be desperate, by your definition. Is that what you meant? |

Hey Lady SPirit guide. I have recently purchased two dolls. Change of heart. I am gonna forget what the Black Witch taught me. I went ahead and bought two. Nothing but blessings so far :) |

Love Kitten-I have two dolls. One is my own private Moppet. The second is a "blessing" doll. I found out that originally VooDoo dolls(and images) were used to heal & bring about blessings. Hollywood turned them into images of torment. I imagine VooDoo dolls CAN be used for harm, but then again, a Witch can use a photograph & scotch tape & bring about a pretty effective spell, too........:) |
