Yeah, as far as I know, its a myth. But you shouldn't touch your face with your hands alot, that does cause your face to be more oily. |

Its a myth really. Breakouts are caused by different things, i.e, hand to face contact, stress, emotional on-goings, etc... |

For SOME people, diet plays an important role in the overall health of the skin or exacerbates acne conditions. One of the biggest factors is HYGIENE. When the oil glands are overactive, and dirt and dead skin cells clog the pores, the result is blackheads which if irritated or left to fester, then erupts into acne. The use of a non-fat content soap, astringents and acne preparations along with good hygeine, usually keeps it all in check. Use sterile cotton balls (not the synthetic cotton) to apply astringents and to cleanse with. Do not share your materials or products with anyone else. Skincare was my business for many years. I used to give treatments using sterile water in a steam form and taught kids how to sterilize everything that came in contact with their skin. |

I believe it is true as well as sugars. Drinking lots of water helps cleanse the system and helps acne. |

That's just a myth. Chocolate and greasy food have nothing to do with pimples. They do, however, have to do with pimps. When you see them in the movies, if they aren't taking drugs, they're eating Hershey bars or French fries. :O |
