She hasn't been on recently (health problems) but I think the reason we are so close is this poem fits us both beautifully. Although we each have our own beliefs and minds, we blend into a world of understanding...as it should be:) anyways...this poem is pretty much what "I" stand for... I STAND ALONE Like every tree stands on its own bending with the breeze, reaching for the sky... I stand alone. Like the sun that shines emitting it's own bright light, fueling itself through secret prayer. I shine a brilliant glow. Like the stars although vast in the night sky each is it's very own... I stand alone. I stand alone.... together with the world, alone, yet not apart. It is the way it is meant to be, a small fish in a great sea. In the silence, alone with myself, I hear the sound of each rock and stone, the babbling of the brooks and the rush of the rivers. It soothes my soul. I listen to the winds that talk to me, and bathe in the rain, as the sky cries. I dance upon the cold, wet earth as I gently sway and sigh. I stand alone, for I am one. One is a number that is. I stand alone, and rejoice in myself... my life is but my own.
