The following is a list of personal UFO encounters that have occurred to me over the many years I have lived. Here, I will only display the dates with a short description of the event. I regret (at this time) I am unable to provide the reader with more details for each of the UFO encounter listed here. But, If you desire more info on any of the UFO stories listed, let me know which one.
1957, Gilroy City, CA: Observed in the evening sky directly overhead, before any night stars appeard, a large sphere suspended motionless in the sky, directly over our house in the country. The image looked like ball bearing or the good year blimp, on end. It remined in this position in heavens for 2-3 hours before gaining speed and vanishing to a pinpoint. This same object was reported by local towns people including two near by forest rangers from mt. modona.
1962 thru 1963, This UFO(s) encounter in the South Pacific, was witnessed by me and many other navy personnal on board US Navy Ships, operating in what was a top secret operation called ....(I was going to give the name of the operation, but changed my mind). This was part of the Navys Atomic testing in the ionosphere, back then in the early 60's with the French. Just let me say here what I(and other service men) witnessed during that period, we were instructed that, upon the penilty of prison in a Federal Pen.,we could not reveal the following events of a UFO sighting witnessed during the So. Pacific atomic testing in 1962-63. There were many UFO sightings during that secret military operation,but the only UFO sighting I well share,( for now ), is the time test explosions in the Ionosphere brought down an unsuspecting UFO, that perhaps had been observing our atomic testing operations. I was a radarman in combat central(CIC)at the time, and we had been traking this 'bogie' on our radar screens for days, in the general area of our next assigned testing site. On the day of the scheduled atomic bomb testing I was one among twenty or more men orderd to stand starboardside of the ship to witness the next atomic test operation from a safe distance. We were wearing protective eye gear and radiation exposure monitors for the event. I don' think anyone at that time expected what was about to happen when the bomb went off, on schedule. I will never forget what I saw with my own eyes on that eventful day. This thing that we had been tracking on our radar, the UFO, unfortunately unaware was in the target site of the explosion, and it must have been hit with such unexpected force, sending it crashing and burning and entering with such force, penetrating our earth's atmosphere, heading directly across our ships path. Radar tracking would put in within two miles off our starboard side, and we were to document it with all the technical means at our desposal. Unknown to me at the time, higher command was gambling that this thing, the UFO, that it could be subject to the full force of the test explosion, sending it to its fate. Recovery ships had been dispatched to the supposed crash site for recovery operations. A count down was given by CIC when the object UFO would be visable on the horizon, and we were ordered to stand alert for its arrival. Then it arrived unannounced, from no where, it appeared! This huge elliptical, oval shaped object, its flat metalic disk shape reflecting the light from flames burning bright at one end, like a welders tourch. It rushed down towred the rough seas at a high speed leaving a trail tail of sparks and smoke in its spinning nose dive to its doom, the black blue sea. Each man observing this thing zipping by at a high rate of speed, not far from our ship,watched in amazment and disbelief sending shock wave expressions on all our faces. AS for me, I can honestly say this thing was not of this earth, nothing comes close to what this UFO looks like, even today. Success or failure to recover the unknown space ship has never been reported by the navy or our government. All of us who witnessed the event had to fill out our own personal report about the subject. Then we all were de-briefed, and told to sign documents that sealed our fate, not to say or mention anything regarding the UFO subject, for 20+years. From 1966 through 1970, I have witnessed 3 more UFO sightings and I one contact with one man in black after the above subject event. Even now reporting this event gives me the willies, thinking I will have another visit by a MIB...dwc
How it changed my life:I know for a fact UFO's exist and I believe Governments are holding back alot of information. It dosen't take a rocket scientiest to figure out how advanced mankind has come since the first sightings of UFO's in the late 1940's!
