Why on earth would anyone try to deep fry a Turkey? Surely the outside would burn before the inside was cooked??? |

They sell the fryers at our local grocery store... it smells absolutely delicious, but I saw I think it was americas funniest home videos where the guy dropped the turkey in and it splashed and the flames were fast! Scary... |

I've never done it but it sounds really good. Just do it outside. I think one would be great if you put it in a smoker. |

Do not call people names because of something YOU have never heard of. I myself have not ever deep fried a turkey but my low class american doctor friend and his low class american doctor wife did last year at a halloween party and let me tell you that was the BEST tasting turkey I ever ate. The problem with deep frying is that it is dangerous and as long as the people doing it do it correctly then everything will be fine. But to call them Low Class says a little about you now doesn't it. |

chaser, i'd say it is pretty stupid when you cause over 115000 dollars worth of property damge on 3 houses and 2 garages. and its not like they didnt know it could happen. they had warnings all over the news. next thing you know they are going to be fishing with TNT.... |

we have deep fried turkeys for three years now with no problems. common sense and caution is the key. |
