Girlie..the "F" word is used on a regular basis where I work..its a lumber mill filled with rednecks..LOL..This particular boss has a habit of calling people names..and the F word is always included in those names..he is definatly not a people person..I KNOW I do a good job at that place though..You normally have three months probation period, and then you get a raise if they decide to keep you..well I got my raise last week..only TWO months after I started..When I commented that I didnt have my three months in yet..I was told that they didnt need me to be there for three months to know they were going to keep me..so OBVIOUSLY the MAIN boss thinks I am doing a good job..right??  |

aww LLsis.. sorry to here that your day has been yucky... i guess every so often we have to have one to balance the good days... it bites... i think everyone is a bit on edge with christmas coming... that rush of the holiday... i have been feeling the crunch at work too... as for miss "THANG".. well all i can say is The Green Eyed Monster is showing her true colours... tomorrow is another day.. thank goodness  |

I read all what you have written and i find these people are jealous of you.I feel they see you as a candidate to a higher rank as an employee.I feel it has something to do with the fact they feel its their territory and you have stepped in their own little world.Now it is you to stand up and say to your self "I will not let these fools get to me because i am so much better person than that".Do not get riled up because of these things LadyLuck its part of a job .They all comes in one little neat package and now you need to prove to them you are much stronger person and you will not let these fool see you unhappy in anyway at all.See it in much bigger picture why do they pun you like that?One thing and one thing only LadyLuck*JEALOUSY*.Its everywhere isnt it ?So brushed it off and start from the begginning.Just a thought my dear friend *hugs*  |

Diana you know..that was an awesome reply..and I think you may be right..actually my husband said something similar to that..I know that this woman was NOT impressed about me getting my raise a month early or the fact that they took me off probation a month early...and now that I think of it..My supervisor has been treating me very rudely since that day too.. |

i know how you feel! i really hate it when people make little, cute comments that they think are funny, but to me, they aren't. for instance, this one girl comes up to me in class one day and says i look like a drug-addict! okay, thanks for the comment! that really made my day! another time, in my Art class, this one kid said, "it's alright. no one likes you anyway!" after i said something. i know he was just joking but, i believe that when people say they are "joking", they are half-right about what they said. they don't mean to hurt you, but in a way, they do think it's the truth. that's just my opinion, though.  |
