Hiya Barbie...We usually travel to San Antonio for the lighting of the riverwalk. Sangelina sometimes takes in a sale or two on the trip up there..You're right though, it's a madhouse..I usually stay in the car...lol..See ya..  |

well, actually, i just say that to keep my staff's hopes up . . . . all the horror stories, they are true. Heck, i am a store manager, and i have to show up at 4:30 AM tomorrow!!!! and i don't even work in a toy or novelty store .... *sigh* ... |

I work in the mall and I have heard horror stories. Our store is already overcrowed with clothes and people on regular friday and saturday nights it is just going to be horrible this weekend.  |

The good thing is that we are going to be allowed to wear pajamas and slippers that we bought from the store so we don't have to dress up like usual and wear our dress shoes. |

I tried it once. It sucks. People are so rude and I get annoyed very easily. There usually aren't any carts left, so you have to carry everything around the store and the checkout lines go all the way to the back of the store!! I'd rather pay a little more than put up with that bull****.  |

Yup. There is definatley no Christmas Spirit when people have to fight over the last toy or when it is so crowded you can't move or when the have to wait in line for a half hour. |
