I have recently started having conversations with family I know and don't know very well. I have always felt different and very rebellious against religions all my life. I started to practice witchcraft when I just turned 12. A neighbor of mine was into Black magic. I had no idea what it was and I was very interested. She was about 34 and I guess it was Santera as I understand now. I saw Statues cry and things happen that I still to this day can't explain. I was pulled in different directions from the fundamentalist friends and a close guy friend. A neighbor would try and scare me with revalation scare tactics. Which later she left her husband for a woman LOL Anyhow I tried all kinds of religions in my life. Christianty being the main one. I hated to go to church with a passion and it took my mother and father to take me by my arms and legs and force me..Kicking and screaming to get on that church bus when I was a child. I argued with my School teachers cause I didn't agree with things they would tell me. Which made me a problem in Sunday school. I was baptized about 12 times in my life LOL I kept trying to cleanse the sin and except Jesus as my Lord and Savoir. It was NOT working!I never lost faith in Jesus but I lost faith in the fundamentalist churches. I got all hell from friend's of mine about not wanting to be a Christian any longer. I was introduced to The Church of Later Day Saints. The Mormon chruch through a friend. I tried to be open minded to all my friend's suggestions. I was just about sexually assulted by the guys who came to show me a video. I have not had anything to do with the Mormom church since!I use to go to the Catholic chruch up the street to pray for my Grandmother..I was kicked out for not being a memeber!!! Can you believe that? A chruch that kicked me out for praying and not being a memember. To this day I can't understand it. Still I kept searching. I joined a Baptist church and I have to admit everyone there was sooo amazing. I continued to get Baptized once a month LOL The Pastor was like hun you only have to do it once. I insisted it wasn't working. I was a member for a couple years, but still didn't feel it in my heart. I stopped trying everyones suggestions and just decided to stick with Jesus and away from Churches. Thats when I met the witchy neighbor and boy did she know how to start Drama. I think I am still paying for Karma for that experience. But hey it's all in a learning lesson. About that time my mother had left the Christian faith and got into a spiritual church that excepted all beliefs. My mother was trying to raise the spiritual awareness in the house and was battling with the Witchy neighbor. I thought my Mom had lost her mind and I wanted nothing to do with this church of hers. My poor father supported us in all of this LOL I love my father!!! My mother and this spiritual church prayed and prayed for this Black Magic lady to move away. Oneday the whole family packed and left during the night. I was having strange and wicked things happening after she left. I was on the internet oneday we had just got it and this page popped up out of nowhere!! About Goddess worship and Wicca. I was stunned with amazement on how beautiful it all sounded but yet I was Skeptical as could be. It felt so right and so familiar. Yet I was reading away. I got every book I could find on Wicca. Wicca wasn't enough I wanted to know more!! More! I started to get into the roots of Paganism. WHen it started how it started. How it changed. Then it all started to become clear. Like all the lies and blinders started to fall off and I could see and think with my own soul!I thought man I have alot of Karma to fix LOL My Mothers church was saying it is evil bad bad! I had a huge problem with them because they were suppose to be all excepting..CHurches ERR ...I ignored them and kept on my journey. I studied away and away. I was raised in a house that used herbal remedies and you didn't go to the doctor unless your arm fell off. So the Herbal Earthy aspect of Paganism was right at home. Any herb I needed to try a ritual it was in the cupboard. All my life I saw spirits. It started at Birth and still I see spirits. I was told it was all evil and all bad and SATAN and blah blah. Now I look at it as a gift that gets annoying sometimes. My friends noticed the shift in me and grew a huge intrest in what I was doing. I never ever pushed my studies on anyone! Now about 75 percents of my friend are Pagan. My family are now Pagans. So this is where it came togather for me recently and made me want to make this post. I found out that my Great Grandma was an Italian Witch and her mother and her mothers mother and so on. I found out that alot of my family also see spirits. I found out I have Shaman healers in my past famiy tree. I recently found out that my Near Death Experience at birth really happened which I also made a post on. It has all come togather and I feel more at home with myself and my lifes path then I ever have in my whole life. It just gets better. I see other USMers make post on their spiritual journeys. This is just a breif cap of mine. It would take up pages. I am writing a book on it right now and using my 6 journals of experience. Including rituals I tried during my Black Magic days. Experiences in deapth in church. Paranormal activity and to dreams. Rebellion while growing up. I am putting it all in writing. I am exposing all and not holding back. It is very spirutal and releasing..Blessings and I will get back to this post later. I spent alot of time on this so please No rude comments.
