I gather that you are talking about the inside Bamboo..If this is so , you only need enough water to cover the small rocks that are in your container..Yes the shoots do grow , but not at fast and it is very easy to root these shoots, all you do is when thay start getting bigger than you want them to get just cut them back and put the shoots in a glass of water...  |
