"Grown cold"....kronk

Where have the words gone?

In the, now-distant, past

they flowed like water.

Alas, the font has run dry.

Time...peerless friend or heartless nemesis.

Wait for none-

What difference one cycle of the moon can make.

Happy..Sad..Pain..Sorrow-

Walk..then hobble-

Eventually, crawl..close to the ground.

Take me to your bosom..Cold inland water.

Blue gas and dry cedar log on the fire-

Power failure-

Moon building in size..Alluring..calling,

"Child, come wander. Lost in the whitelands."

Fight the feeling.

Dream of summer nights and hurricanes-

Keyhole doorway to...another world.

Uncut and only slightly censored. Can't really
say what I want to. It just isn't there. Later :

Date: 12/16/2002 8:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 4548    so desolate! i can feel you reaching out, through heart and mind. it's like that here, right now. bleak and cold. i miss the ocean so badly, it's actually breaking my heart. the smell, the sound, the feel of it, sliding over dry skin. all i have are memories to warm me through this cold, dark night...
Date: 12/16/2002 8:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 12341    Poignant poems speak to human mortality and the acceptance of it. Great poem Kronk!

Date: 12/19/2002 5:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 54444    I really enjoy coming to your post Kronk. No one else uses words quite the way you do. You can make one or two words carry as much information as a sentence or paragraph.
