Ok, I do not want to sound rude, especially since I don't know any of those answers, either. But, then, I never read the book. Of course, if this is for school, don't you think you should try to find the answers out yourself? I do understand, tho, that the answers are sometimes hidden within the book and you may not be able to readily find it. I'd probably help if i could, too. Sorry

I found a site with Cliff Notes for Johnny Tremain. It seems to be pretty good. It looks like you can find the answers to these questions there....for instance...it says that "Eight Shillings are due for your paper" was a code to let members know that the Observers were meeting that night.
