From a man's point of view, I think women are not so much jealous as appreciative. They are women's fantasies in a way. However, they have no need to be jealous because men, contrary to popular opinion, are not so stupid as to be attractive to mere bodily beauty. Attraction is something else altogether. Men might ogle at sexy pictures but they are actually attracted to real women.  |

Well Koolade just about summed up my answer to this one..LOL. However I like some of Brittany's music and Mariah Carey is by far my favorite singer and I have followed her career since the beginning and even saw her live and ended up on the video's Hero and Without You. However J-LO, I can't stand the woman. I find her to set a horrible example. Everyone talks about how talented she is but maybe I am blind but I don't see ALL this "talent". Sure the woman is gorgeous and she is a good actress. However I don't find her to be a great dancer, either that or I am just not seeing the glory in her choreography. And if she was not a well known actress first she would have NEVER gotten a record deal. No doubt all of a sudden she is starting to sound better with each album. I have to wonder how much she is paying the vocalist, cause her first album showed how definately inexperienced she was. I see a sickening pattern here and the woman just creeps me out. She bears a resemblance to Selena, she sings one of her songs at her concerts as a "tribute" to her, she played her in the movie. Selena branched off and did clothing, while J-Lo is doing perfume and clothing, along with the acting. The pitch on her Latin roots I find to be way too over played. She is inner city and she walks talks and acts like a New Yorker, not a Latino or Puerto Rican. Many of the woman in music and in film that speak English with their accents and portray themselves as their heritage have never received the kind of merit that she has received for retaining her latin roots within her music. Jealous? Nah, I find many of the gorgeous talented musicians to be well worthy of their success. Ashanti and Whitney Houston for example. However it bothers me to see the stars dealing with real life as losing merit in their career when they have personal tragedies. Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston have had bad publicity over bad marriages, nervous breakdowns, and being forced out of record companies. The gossip of their REAL lives didn't help them to sell more albums, it only added to the downfall in their personal lives. Meanwhile those like J-LO are rolling enough money to build a 3rd world country into gold because she plays house with whatever man makes her look the best and will keep her in the media at the time. She is fake to me, but a great actress cause there are a Whooooole bunch of people buying into that one. I am tired of hearing "I'm Real" and hearing we shouldn't be fooled her rocks, she's still Jenny from the block".....blah...  |

I dont think Britney or Mariah are attractive at all, but JLo is, I admit it and I like her too. I guess some women are jealous but I just think "They are meant to look like that, I would want to diet everyday and wear THAT much makeup everyday. I enjoy my life that is normal!"  |

women who get jelous over other women are not sucure with thier own selves i find.. they compare"i wish i had her skin, i wish i had her nose, i wish i had her figure" are alot... once you become happy with yourself, and secure with yourself you don't get jelous of other wormen, you find there is no need  |

Why are we considered to be jealous if we just so happen to dislike another female..which has nothing to do with her outer appearence it's her whole attitude like she's just it! Jealous is to want,be,have what that person is or has...Majority of the time we're just wondering why?! Whenever someone throws that word at me such as "you're just jealous" makes me cringe! ugh! You can't even mention anyone without being accused of it..I suppose it's because my ex would just talk up and down about all these girls and how they were perfect and i wasn't..forced jealousy yeah! but, there was never anything to be jealous of.  |

No...er a little bit. Its hard not to be jealous when they all look so beautiful in their videos and on magazines. However when you see them without make-up on they look ok but not as good cos at the end of the day they are only human! I don't like J.Los attitude though, yes she's beautiful, rich and famous but she's supposed to be a real diva. I read somewhere that she told people not to make eye contact with her! I find that really pathetic. However half the things you read in magazines aren't true but if it is then she is a horrible person.  |
