I always found mine by accident--a few years later. My mom would hide them so weell, by the time Christmas came around she forgot where she put them and had to go buy more and just wrap them right away. LOL  |

Oh my mom is the QUEEN at wrapping presents. Everything is all nice and neat and it is like tight skin over the box. She also only uses FOUR peices of tape. I would sit for hours by myself carefully peeling the tape back and opening one end of the box without ripping the paper or wrinkling the tape. The first two years I got caught but by the third year I was a master at it...LOL  |

I get accused of it all the time..but, i can honestly say..if and when i have it's purely accidental..i'm just an automatic finder of things..that's why everyone asks me where things are..because, i have this amazing ability to find things..maybe because i lose things all the darn time..so when i look for mine..i find theirs in the process..lol anyhow...My sister did it one year..she snooped and actualy told my mom "thanks for the shoes" "but, they're not the ones i had wanted" doh!! lol  |

I think its almost like human nature for kids to peek. My little girl is old enough now to understand shes getting presents, and I hid one to put out from Santa on christmas morning, and the little fart found it! lol, I had to let her keep it  |

I never have because I like the surprise and don't want to ruin it. I like feeling packages and trying to guess what people have, but would never unwrap one before time. My family is the type that give me my packages on Christmas day. The ones in my house are from me to everyone else. This year I have wrapped everything as I buy it. I don't want Tina or her sister to come across anything by accident, LOL. Mom will know if anything has been untaped and tampered with, so will Santa, LOL. Tina I'm glad you arn't peeking, LOL. You arn't saying that cause you know I'll be reading are you, LOL. Just playing with you Tina. Yeah Tina I remember your sis saying that about the shoes. That's when I realized she was a little peeker. Remember when the neighbor girls said they used to unwrap and peek at all theirs. I thought, that's no fun cause it leaves no surprises.  |

When I was 11 I had got up in the middle of the night and went looking for my parents. I found them in the garage playing with all these toys they were wrapping. It looked like Santa's workshop. See, my step-dad had got me a chemistry set and microscope, as one of my gifts. Yet I was never allowed to play with them after Christmas. I then figured it out that he got them for his self not me, LOL. I believed in Santa soo bad that even when I caught them in the garage, I still hung on to believing in Santa. |

I tried to do it as a kid but they hid the presents too good LOL the one time my neighbor sent a gift over to me and I just had to peek ,it was a little piano keyboard and I ruined the surprise for myself LOL and I can't snoop now my hubby covers the gift with so much tape you have to rip the gift open to see what it is LOL :)  |

This is what I used to do with my kids when they got older.I would take them shopping,let them pick what they wanted,and they had to wrapped it. Then they had to leave it under the tree until Christmas Eve.There is nothing worse than to put a Christmas present somewhere then you forgot where you put it.This way I didn't have to hide it and forget where it where I put it.Trauma momma  |

Not any more, but I used to be a pro. I could pick up a present and feel, shake and look through the paper to tell what it was. My folks got to the point of disguising everything. One year my dad bought me a jewelery box. He added a box underneath with nuts and bolts in it, 2 cans of oil along the sides and wrapped it in dirty newspaper 6 sheets thick. There was no way I could figure that one out. I had been defeated!  |

Once, when I was like 4 years old, I found the stuff that my parents had gotten me for christmas. My mom overheard me telling my brother about the location so by the time I took him back to where the stuff was hidden, it was all gone..  |
