I use them in candlemagic...that is one thing that has always worked nomatter what. They are soothing and great for meditating.  |

Lady...I also find them calming. I find that when I light specific colors, I tend to pray specifically for one area of my or another life...it just makes me seem to concentrate:) |

By the way....I kind of do the same thing with crystals and different forms of minerals and rocks. I have always loved rocks since I was a little girl....didn't know why....just loved them and was always picking them up and bringing them home and polishing them. I've recently been buying different stones that I find myself attracted to. I bought a beautiful carnelian pyramid shaped stone and also a citrine stone. The guy at the store told me I must be needing energy because of the colors I was attracted to....LOL....and boy, he sure was right! |

Lady..I love stones too:) My youngest daughter has always collected rocks..plain ones, not so plain ones...ect. when she was like a year and a half, she started stashing them without our knowledge in her pockets...if we tried to take them away, she would cry. she called them her angel rocks and still does. who knows:)??LOL |

I enjoy candle lighting, I find the aroma very soothing and relaxing and the colors they symbolize very interesting. I see nothing wrong with lighting candles and using there color to help one in meditation and prayer; very informative post and thank you for sharing! :)  |

I love candles, I collect them but never burn them. Even when I buy them with the intent to burn them I never do.  |
