C H A P T E R 8 I G H T"

After renting a room in a cheap motel, just outside of Lawrenceville, Jasper showered and changed into some fresh clothes. He layed crossways across the bed in his dingy room and stared up at the ceiling, his mind traveling back to a blur in his life, as if he were rushed through it- so he might not notice. The anger in Jasper was quickly flowing through his veins, his forehead was throbbing and sweat slowly trickled down the side of his face. It was anxiety overload. The thoughts and memories terrorized him and he couldn't escape. Jasper sat up, as though in a trance, and grabbed his journal. He began writing, as all the fury within him spilled onto the notebook paper, which was his journal.

March 17th, 2000: Lawrenceville, Indiana/

"When I'm gone, I only wish for those who have abandoned me, to know it was not of my fault, nature, or desire for our family to be so damaged. I want it known that I missed the hugs from mom that I never felt, I wanted to wrestle on the floor with my brothers, I wanted to have a relationship with my sister. I wanted to open Christmas presents with you on Christmas morning. My life was an entirely different road, a different world, a different set of rules and expectations. To blame me, as you always have, is no justification for taking these things from me. To give me away before I had even spoken my lst word-then never come for me- was an event in my life I truly never recovered from. Obviously as you read this diary of a "MADMAN", I can't murder my own family although the despise is immense toward each and every one of them, but I set out to kill the four men that self-gratifyingly stole my innocence at a confusing phase of my life, that raped and manipulated me- then went on with their lives and forgot my existence. I have killed two. John Roop in Montgomery, Indiana and Bobby Grissom in Sharpsville, Indiana. I sit in this ugly _ _ _ motel room and I prepare to murder Brian Webb. He was my lst friend when me, Uncle Roger, and Aunt Colleen lst moved to the neighborhood I grew up in. We shared alot of funny times together, he made me laugh sometimes 'till my stomach hurt. We were in Boy Scouts together & he betrayed everything I had trusted and believed in. He deserves to die and die he will, a horrible bloody death.............Jasper R. Wallace/

Jasper grabbed a sandwich from a local burger joint, then he located GOLDEN MEMORIES ANTIQUE SHOP. He parked his car across the street, it was close to 5:00 and he knew closing time was near for Mr.Webb. His feelings of anticipation and sickness collaborated to create a mild frenzy as he waited. The sun slowly sunk in the sky. An hour later as darkness had finally overtook the evening dusk, Brian Webb exited the antique shop and locked up. He made his way to his car down the street and after getting situated, being a big man, he put his car into gear and headed home. Jasper pulled out and stayed a few cars back, but he was at an emotional epiphamy as he followed the object of his bitterness. The radio cranked to the loudest possible volume, fire glowing in his eyes- he stalked his prey like a hungry vulture. Just then, Brian in his fancy Lexus coupe took an exit ramp to the old access highway. Jasper followed. It was the lurking silence that seemingly blocked out the sound of the cars on the old black-top two lane highway. It was a winding, bumpy road that curved through & around farms and fields. Two blinking signal lights may exists along this five mile stretch, with luxurious homes built snuggly into the mountain sides, and 'out of place' looking housing communities that appear to have been quickly put up in the middle of a corn field. Lawrenceville was within earshot of Cincinnati, Ohio. So, on went the road and the two men continued their pursuits. One man completely unaware of the impending ending of his life, another man he_ _ bent on ending the other mans life. The Lexus, with the big, round man navigating, took another turn and drove to convenience place for some gas and a beverage, some lottery tickets. Jasper couldn't believe his eyes as he stared at this man who shared his blue jeans with Jasper as teenagers, 29-30" waiste, the man before him could barely get out of his four door sedan. His white long sleeve shirt was wrinkled and far from tucked in properly, he was obese and filthy. A lst-class slob. He swaggered into the store and left with a bag of items, once again he situated himself, and journey'ed home. There he was, a world class pervert and slob pulling into the driveway of his $250,000 home in his $45,000 Lexus. He didn't put the car in the garage, opting to just park it and walk the sidewalk to the front door. Jasper stared out of the window of his car and studied the surroundings. He figured out the fact the Brian Webb lived alone, not even a dog. Just a lonely man, eats some dinner, and drops into a worn out e-z boy recliner and stare at the television set.

There is an entry in the journal that showed alot about his complex humanity.

It was from l999, and the enormosity of the abuse's consequences had finally come to the surface. He had just spent 8-l0 years purposely trying to kill himself. He faced death and danger, on a 'no-limit' scale- his body seemed unbreakable, he was always hurting himself, but he didn't break any bones, he drifted into this world of paranoia and lost purpose. The entry from l999, read like this: "Still searchin' for a place where I can forget about some of these things. I wish I could rid myself of these dreadful memories and the effects of my abandonment. I want to have a wife, a child, a home- my lst real family, trust me, I really, really do. I want to be loved in return, but four monsters have haunted me for nearly 30 years and they need to be ejected from my society. It's that simple, I think it's time for them to go, I think they've worn out their welcome- especially considering they are registered sex offenders. I must do these things to carry out justice for the innocence they stole from me, the dismay and confusion they created in my life, the selfishness of their actions. Jasper R. Wallace/

In Montgomery & Sharpsville, Indiana- the searchlights were on, and panic was rising. The police, along with several law enforcement agencies, had narrowed the list of suspects, one who looked identical to a man described by one of the victims wives. Meanwhile, Jas is in Lawrenceville, has made the decision to do the deed he came to do. He casually strolled up to the door of the Webb's residence and in a town where homicide is a rarity, Webb unlocked his door and opened up. "I need to call a wrecker please, I saw your lights on so I came here. You can call the wrecker for me if you wish, my car is overheating and it won't start". This was the best he could do at the drop of a dime. Webb gave him an incredulous sneer and said, "oh I guess you can borrow the phone, try to not track up my floor". Jasper pretended to be talking to a wrecker service he had picked out of a phone book. He hung the reciever up and Brian Webb walked right into his violent ending, here on earth. "What's wrong with your car?" Jasper looked up, square into the eyes of his victim and said, "It's been screwed up for a long time, and I don't really know what the major malfunction is"................................

Brian Webb, the big man in a trench coat, in the middle of nowhere and it just dawned on him- what he had done, and the rage that filled the evening mist. Webb reached into his coat pocket and withdrew a cellular phone, hoping he'd get to make a phonecall. Jasper grabbed the cell phone and proceeded to beat Brian in the head until the phone was just a piece of plastic holding the battery. The black Lexus rolled off into a ditch. Jasper was beginning to fade into a state of panic- this time he maintained. He climbed out of the passengers side and went around to the badly beaten, but still conscious, mans side of the car. He opened the drivers side door and shoved Webb over to the passenger side- thanks to the angle the car was sitting. He put the car in gear and drove it out of the ditch. He looked behind him, in the rearview mirror, the darkness gave proof that no other witness's were around. He drove an hour to a little town outside of Cinicinnati. Jasper pulled out a carpet knife and a helpless victim, wailing his arms and legs, trying to scream louder than the music blasting from the powerful car stereo system. Jasper carved the man into utter desecration, as he if he were carving ham for a sunday dinner with the family. "Guess who's not coming to dinner"?...............

Jasper shoved the mutilated remains of Brian Webb out of the car, he walked around and proceeded to push the bloodsoaked 'antique dealer' to a spot where the corpse rolled down into some heavy brush. He hurriedly jumped back into the car and simply turned the vehicle around and headed back to the spot where his car was supposedly broken down. He found his car and drove on by, parking the Lexus in someones driveway. He walked the mile or so back to his car and fired it up, he turned around and finally was heading home.

"Oh Lord, please understand why I have to do this, please know that I love you and believe you died on the cross, even for me. I know that I've sinned horribly against you and I've denied you- I feel no sorrow for those lives, I feel no apologies or remorse. He trusted me enough to give me a ride, just like I trusted him when he was older and my hero, when he abused and things I'm ashamed to talk about. I feel no true saddness, I just know that after David Waggoner wallers in his blood- I really don't know, I don't see how this will make life better for anyone. So it was off to Innsdale, Ohio to visit the last member of the old gang. Another time, final murder- or so it seemed........
