i think that to beleive there is only one religion that is the right religion is close-minded. i'm a christian, but i don't believe that christianity is the only right religion, and every other religion is wrong. i can't think that, i never will. |

Interesting to have another debate on *beliefs*. I dont agree with the christian belief, i respect it but i think its a bit close minded to think your religion is the only 'true' one. *PERSONALLY* I think whatever you worship for a religion is right for you personally, and there is no wrong as long as you do good |

If every religion is the samething, or follow the same god, then why do they contradict each other, even when they have similar events, they still contradict each other. |

Let me ask you a question. Let's two people try to hire you for a job, person A and person B. Let's say Person A will have you totally work you to death, and he may ask you to pay him more money, and he may not. You don't know, what is going to happen, you may get paid or you may not, or even you may have to give money or you may not. But you would have to work very hard where is can get unbarble. Here is person B, he will just give you 10 million Dollars a day, and you do not have to do a thing. These are the choices, who would you pick to work for. |

Drkptrs I dont know if your talking to me directly or not but i shall comment anyways :p. I never said all religions were the same, just that its a personal thing and whatever is right for person A may be completly different for person B. Just as in your second example. |

LOL You could make a whole new post for No Doubt. Anyway, I personally believe that all religions started as one. But when people and the Earth split up, it all changed slightly. Like a giant game of "telephone". If you really look all religions have some similarities. I don't believe that God would choose just one group of people to save, and dam the rest to hell for eternity. I believe we are all Gods children and s/he loves all of us equally. |

I believe everyone reaches perfection eventually I'm guessing thats my equilavent to you paradise/Heaven. I think it takes longer to reach this state than christianity allows. The longer it takes for you to learn the difference between right and wrong and the time it takes you too do good with your lives the longer it will take you to reach this 'paradise'. Love, |

Jesus answers this question in the New Testament. He said "I will build my church" and when He returns he is returning for his Bride. So one should search the scriptures to know what church will make it to heaven, instead of joining the churches of Tom, Dick, and Harry. Nikeinlogos |

well i don't believe in all that god/heaven stuff, but i do believe that the majority of the religions are worshiping the same deity, just in somewhat different forms, or they may worship differently, but overall its the same 'god' they are believing in. if by chance there is such a thing as 'god' and 'heaven' no one knows which is the 'one true way' or if there even is one true way. |

There is no one religion that has all the truth..not mine and not yours! Spirit says that each religion has some of the truth, but NO religion has ALL the truth. No matter what our personal religious preference is, we are all going to the same place ...but to different levels ( some higher and some lower) according to how we have lived our lives while we were here and what good we have done for each other. |

It's better to have variety than have a bunch of clones. If everyone were the same, the world would be very boring. |

As a Baha'i, I believe that there really is only one religion, and that is the religion of God. The so-called separate religions of the world are just manifestations, "messages," "lessons," or stages of this one religion. The foundation of each one is the same: the Golden Rule, obedience to God, giving up the self or the ego, the oneness of God, we are all His creation, etc.. We believe in faith and grace and "doing the will of God," the same as in Christianity. We do not believe that all Baha'is go to heaven or that all the people of other religions go to hell. There are Christians, Muslims, Hindus, etc., that are better Baha'is than some Baha'is! The word Baha'i means "of the glory (of God)." With these beliefs, we do not put ourselves "above" anyone else, and we see people of other religions as fellow believers in God, not "the enemy." |

None. There is no paradise. Death is the end. once your dead your dead. You didn't exist before you were born. Same when you die |
